Viceroy Santa Monica

Viceroy Santa Monica is a 162-room hotel located steps from the beach in Santa Monica, CA, boasting vibrantly sophisticated, innovatively curated interior spaces, and inspiring ocean views. Kor acquired the property, originally built in the 1960s and operating as a budget hotel, and it underwent a complete renovation and conversion in 2000. Under the exacting eye of interior designer Kelly Wearstler, the property was transformed into a contemporary luxury destination and re-launched as the Viceroy in 2002. The immense success of Viceroy Santa Monica led to the inception of the Viceroy Hotel brand. In 2009, Viceroy Santa Monica was named among the “Top 100 Hotels in the US and Canada” by Travel + Leisure. The hotel’s Cameo Bar, and the award-winning Whist Restaurant, fronted by renowned Chef Tony DiSalvo, formerly of Jean Georges in New York City, are consistently favored destinations for both local tastemakers and exacting travelers. Other hotel amenities include in-room spa services, library, fitness center, and two outdoor plunge pools.
